  • Instructional Strategies That Work- This is a workshop series that focuses on teaching teachers the
    “best practices” for teaching reading and math. Instructional styles, multiple intelligences, and
    strategies for teaching urban students are all addressed in this series.
  • Rigor- Strategies for increasing the rigor of instructional programs. An in-depth look at Bloom's Taxonomy
    and the role of questioning and assessment is included in the series
  • Differentiation- This workshop focuses on teaching teachers how to differentiate their instructional program to
    address students at both ends of the performance continuum (from remediation to enrichment)
  • Data Driven Instruction- Monitoring student's growth toward proficiency on standardized assessments
  • Understanding Reading and Math- Clarifying the content and learning the best practices for teaching reading
    and math to urban students
  • What's Next- Understanding and preparing students for academic and social success on the next grade level
