The Wright Educational Group is founded and operated by Tracy L. Wright, a former teacher, social worker and administrator within the District of Columbia Public Schools. During her tenure she played a critical role as a leader and administrator in stabilizing and improving student achievement in schools that were reconstituted, transformed and consolidated. The educational and social impact that the work she and her colleagues conducted at each of these schools was profound; students learned, school climates improved and communities were changed. Realizing the scope of influence she could have on education (both social and emotional) by taking the effective practices she implemented in each of these schools to a greater scale, she founded the Wright Educational Consultant Group in the summer of 2007, after serving the children of the District of Columbia for almost two decades.
